Thank You Volunteers and Voters |

Despite the dissapointing end to the 009 election cycle, the Hunter Mill District Democratic Committee is thankful for all the hard work of the volunteers in all the campaigns and through out Hunter Mill District.
While Democratic statewide turnout around Virginia was down, even by off-year standards, Hunter Mill District Democrats actually turned out in higher than normal numbers in nearly all our precincts.
That helped us keep Del. Ken Plum in the General Assembly and sent Mark Keam to Richmond as the first Asian-American to hold a seat in the House of Delegates.
Our best wishes go to Sen. Creigh Deeds, Jody Wagner and Steve Shannon. All are fine public servants and will no doubt continue their public service in the yearas ahead. |

One of the top priorities for Democrats in Virginia is winning a majority in the House of Delegates, which has been a solid roadblock to progress and bent on forcing its failed ideology on the Commonwealth.
In Hunter Mill District, we have four delegate campaigns that need your support.

In the 36th District, Del. Ken Plum, who also chairs the House Democratic Caucus, is running for reelection.

In the 35th District, which includes parts of Hunter Mill and Vienna, Mark Keam is the Democratic nominee to succeed Del. Steve Shannon, who is running for Attoney General.

In the 67th District, which includes a small number of Hunter Mill precints in the southwest, Del. Chuck Caputo is in a tough race for reelection.

And in the 86th District, Loudoun County Supervisor Stevens Miller is challenging Del. Tom Rust. Thjis seat is critically important because it would represent a net gain of one seat in the House, and Democrats need only six seats to have a majority there.
Please support these candidates with your time, your money and your influence.
